Manages all activities involving landscape maintenance services (e.g., coordinating all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors) required to produce a quality job; inspects properties, prepares specific action plan for crews; monitors irrigation systems, monitors plant and turf grass vigor and identifies insect or disease problems; works with crews as needed to meet work and scheduling demands. provides hands-on training and support of crew personnel in areas such as proper equipment operation, pruning techniques, and quality standards; prepares crews’ daily schedules, providing direction and goals to be accomplished while emphasizing job quality and operational efficiency.

What you’ll do

  • Manage all aspects (e.g., schedule labor, order materials, conduct documentation) of multiple landscape management jobs to ensure quality, coordinate all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce the work being sold (landscape and snow related projects)
  • Participate in company safety protocols to ensure teams are compliant with company safety practices.
  • Inspect properties and their corresponding projects prior to scheduling work to fully understand and overcome all challenges in advance.
  • Organize and track each phase of a job to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Regularly update and maintain all required administrative tracking systems- i.e., time approval, work ticket completion, flower orders, schedule, etc.
  • Train supervisors and crew members on Job responsibilities
  • Create and process purchase orders weekly.
  • Ensure jobs are produced safely and efficiently within the provided metrics.
  • Perform hands-on field operations with crews to meet deadlines- as needed.
  • Regularly update and maintain all required administrative tracking systems- i.e., time approval, work ticket completion, flower orders, schedule, etc.
  • Ensure all trucks, equipment, and small tools are properly maintained and inventoried.
  • Work with Branch Manager to identify appropriate staffing.
  • Responsible recruiting and hiring crew personals.
  • Developing job plans for job efficiency. 
  • Attend walk-throughs as necessary with clients.

         Proficiency using with Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs.

         Minimum one year experience in landscaping and/or grounds maintenance preferred.

         Bi-Lingual –Spanish, very valuable, but not required.

         Strong commitment to quality and exceptional customer service

         Computer Skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
