Level Green Landscape (LGL) is now hiring a Maintenance Supervisor.  As a Maintenance Supervisor you are responsible for ensuring employee safety, job quality and appearance standards that meets client and company expectations; manages all activities involving landscape maintenance services (e.g., mowing services, people management, correct horticulture practices required to produce a quality job and crew efficiency using best practices and learn management practices. Provides hands-on training and support of crew personnel in areas such as proper equipment operation, pruning techniques, and quality standards, providing direction and goals to be accomplished while emphasizing job quality and operational efficiency, communicates regularly with their manager on any job site issues.

What you’ll do

         Dependable; consistently arrives to work on time, responds to management direction and commits to the required hours for job completion that will vary based on weather/season.

         Performs all job-related tasks safely and efficiently and uses all tools and equipment in accordance with company safety policy.

         Develop a clear understanding of the philosophies by which the company operates, the short-and long-term goals of the branch and the financial position of the branch.

         Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on assigned contracts.

         Develop a clear understanding of the hourly and cost budgets for each of your jobs. Monitor by reviewing job hours, reports and job costs regularly and acting as needed.

         Communicate budget hours to crewmembers.

         Monitor quality of work and be proactive in bringing issues to the customer's attention by inspecting the job at the end of each day.

        Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good working order. 

         Working knowledge of vehicles and equipment used in contract maintenance and snow removal. Informs manager of problem areas on site, equipment, or supply issues, or of any accident or loss.

         Ability to identify and diagnose insect and disease.

         Complies with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements, especially in the handling of equipment.

         Works to assure quality and timely completion of all tasks assigned.

         Participates in training programs as required.

         Performs other duties as required. Ensure all work and materials comply with specifications.

         Understands the relationship between job quality and customer service, satisfaction, and retention.

         Provides excellent, accurate, complete, and timely service to clients, vendors, and company staff.

         Bi-Lingual –Spanish, very valuable, but not required.

         Strong commitment to quality and exceptional customer service

         2+ years of experience managing multiple landscape installations for commercial customers.
